On the outcome

A number of thoughts here on the outcome of our election and new President.

-I think John McCain ran a terrible campaign. I think Sarah Palin was the only bright light in it. Annoymous McCain staffers slandering the Governor at this point are looking for someone to blame for their own failing and mistakes. They are moderate and not conservatives like the Governor is. I guess I shouldn't be surprised at this.

-Obama ran a brilliant campaign. His staff did an outstanding job in registering new voters and getting them to show up and vote. He is an eloquent speaker. I think he says a whole lot of nothing disguised in words like Hope and Change. When you look at names being tossed around for Cabinet positions, it's the same old Democrat/Liberals being recycled. A Change in names is not a change in policy.

-For the next 4-years Barack Obama is my President. I can dissent. I can argue policy. I can not vote for him again in 4 years. But for now I need to pray for our leaders and give him the due respect of the office that he holds.
